You need to craft your sentences, build your plot, develop your characters. You need to polish that sucker til it shines.

Forget all that for now.

There are 10 things you can do to be a better writer that have absolutely nothing to do with working on your writing project....

12.20.08: JEFF WALKER'S FRIDAY ROCK
Blitzen Trapper, prove that rock without "R-O-C-K" can still work. A modern indie rock band with clearly discernible old-rock influences; basic drums and guitar are tastefully mixed with subtle electronica additions. Works like "Big Black Bird" meander into southern-rock/alt-country, still maintaining a classic sound while keeping a modern feel (reminiscent of a personal favorite group of mine, the Super Furry Animals ). This is good stuff! Walker Approved!
